2009 Quail Unlimited Banquet-Feburary 27th, 2009
Our next banquet will be Friday February 27, 2009 at the Valdosta Country Club. We will have over 40 guns selected for various raffle drawing, live auction, and silent auction, along with door prizes for adults and youths. We also have many other items to bid on during the live and silent auctions. Economic times are tough for everyone, but we hope our banquet will be on your priority list to attend as we keep most of the monies raised to use locally. Board members are available for tickets
We have continued to fund our South Georgia Pediatric Foundation with the proceeds from our banquet. But, with the generosity of our sponsors and members, we were able to provide support to several more programs. We helped support the Lowndes, Lanier, and Brooks County 4-H shooting teams. They were given a cash donation and Quail logo team shirts. We sponsored a 4-H team to shoot at the Childrens Advocacy Center annual skeet fundraiser along with a financial donation. And finally, we gave financial support to the Lowndes 4-H archery team for their trip to the national competition. We have continued our pledge of kids first. Read Story >> |

South Georgia Pediatric Foundation
In July of 2007, the South Georgia Chapter of Quail Unlimited established the South Georgia Pediatric Foundation. The motivation for the establishment of the Foundation was to make a difference in the lives of families whose children face medical challenges. We continue to provide support and services to these families in many ways including providing financial assistance for families who must travel out of town for the treatment their child requires, providing Christmas gifts to children who must spend the holidays in a medical facility, and various other activities to try to make their lives a little more comfortable. Since 2007, the South Georgia Chapter of Quail Unlimited has donated $33,000 to the South Georgia Pediatric Foundation. We thank you for supporting our Chapter and, as a result, the Foundation.
